Mud City, Orcland--In a spectacular Orc clash, (the likes of which, have not been seen since the clan wars between the Fatfields and the McDummies). The Laughing Skulls, in a long drawn out, but exciting bowl game, made the only score in the game. Their Gobbo "Cornholio" ran into the endzone in the final seconds of overtime to score in what might have been the first 0-0 tie game in Blood Bowl history!
It was an exciting punch-out of a match. Black Orcs knocking down linemen! The Ogre "Donk" knocking over Black Orcs! Blitzers and throwers, running amok! And Gobbos dodging and weaving!
During the Laughing Skulls first scoring drive, their ball carrier was blitzed and the Mauler's lineman "Lance" got the ball and threw a long bomb to the "Great Garloo" who was near the skulls endzone. The ball bounced twice and dropped into Garloo's hands! Garloo made for the goal line but the ball exploded and play had to reume with another kickoff to the Skulls.
During their second drive the Skull's Blitzer saw daylight and headed for a touch down. But the ever sneaky Maulers head coach "Skarg O'Toole set off a trampeline trap and the blitzer only saw stars!
The 2nd half was a great slugfest! The ball went back and forth dozens of times but neither team could capitolize!
It was pretty much the same story as the scoreless game went into overtime. "Cornholio" with the help of the ogre Donk looked sure to score. But eh Oogah Chukka go the ball but was surrounded and could not get a pass off to Tse Tse Flyboy who was near the Skulls endzone. "Cornholio" regained the ball and scored for the skull win!
In a rare (and somewhat strange) show of sportsmanship, at games end, the two orc coaches met in mid field, shook hands, cracked a keg and got drunk!
