1996 Chaos Cup

Here's the rules plain and simple

  1. The Chaos Cup tournament starts immediately and ends Friday, May 31, 1996.

  2. There is no formal play off or eligability round. Any number of teams may participate.

  3. Scores are based on your top 5 games as selected by you the coach for games played between January l8 and May 3l, 1996.

  4. All teams are eligable, even if you don't play five games. Just submit your scores to Chaos, care of Brian not later than June 14th 1996 and results will be announced immediately thereafter.

  5. Winner is the team with the highest score.

  6. All game stats for casualties, points and victory, along with team and player played and date played need to be included for each game submitted.

  7. Coach Peebles is the League Commish'ner during this event and will resolve any issues.

  8. All current game rules for league play apply with the addition of the following rule:
    Whoever has the larger share of the gate (when the gate is rolled at the start of the game) gets a + 1 to their rolls to injure an opponent who has been knocked out of bounds.

Scoring

  1. A victory is worth 2 points
  2. Point spread is worth +1 point per point 'for' and -l point per point against.
  3. Scoring 4 or more points in a game awards you a +2 point bonus. (A bone for you fast but weak teams!)
  4. Points for casualties are as follows:

The Winner of the contest is whoever gets the most points~.
The winner gets the cup and divides the winnings with the first runner up.
The Cup awards your team an extra Random Event card for all fliture games as long as you hold the Cup.

In addition, there is a $350,000 purse which is divided up according to the following chart:

The dice is rolled by the winning team.

A team MVP goes to the team with the most casualties committed (not most casualty points!!) during the 5 game contest.

An Individual MVP goes to the player with the most casualties committed (not casualty points!) during the 5 game contest.
